Acropora is the quintessential reef-building coral. Their shapes are diverse and intricate, yet functional. Their colors are mesmerizing. With advancing technology and a more readily available source of knowledge on the internet, there is less barrier to keeping acros than ever. Acropora is not for novices. Acros demand a steady hand, usually high light and flow, and stable parameters.

Few corals are more highly prized, obsessively collected, or feverishly traded than Acropora. Most don't grow super quickly, so the rewarding feeling you will get from growing a ¾" frag into a colony is difficult to describe. You will be proud of yourself; and rightfully so.
